Redesigning the Glimmernet site has been on the list of things to do for seemingly forever and we kept finding ourselves too busy working with clients to get our own projects completed.  About two weeks ago we decided it was time to make it happen.  This meant wrapping up a few design projects that we had going on and telling a few new clients that we wouldn’t get started for a couple of weeks.  They agreed and we got to work on this redesign!  After all, we needed to take some time and reinvent our own site so that we could post some new information about our company and really start practicing what we preach.

Is the site done?

Nope.  Not even close!  (Are sites ever really done?)

Over the next few weeks we’ll be adding quite a bit to the portfolio and introducing some new case studies for some successful projects we’ve tackled over the years.  We’re also trying to figure out the best way to showcase some of the application development work that we’ve done.  Also on the list of tasks is rewriting some of the [boring] copy on the site and making sure that it’s SEO-friendly.  We’ll get to this in due time, but have set up an editorial calendar so expect some frequent changes!

But for now, we’re happy to have a new site!
